Check which port your soundbar is using before buying anything. Standard HDMI ARC caps bandwidth at ~1Mbps which means compressed audio before it even hits the speakers. eARC goes up to 37Mbps and passes lossless formats untouched. If your TV has an eARC port and you're not using it that's your problem right there, costs nothing to fix
