been in KL two years and went through exactly this. the thing that finally stabilized everything was switching from OpenVPN to WireGuard protocol in the VPN settings - the older protocol is much easier for Disney's detection to fingerprint. NordVPN and Surfshark both have WireGuard, it's just not the default
